BRIEFING
Murrow

| Add another
Hollywood feather to Henrietta hatter Dave Brown's cap.
Brown's work appears in Good Night, and
Good Luck - George Clooney's film about Edward R.
Murrow.
You'd be forgiven if you didn't notice amid
all the cigarette smoke in Clooney's re-creation
of the CBS studios, but trust us, Brown's hats are
there.
Of course, this is not the first time
Brown's high-end lids have shown up on film. You
can see his work in Chicago, The Road to Perdition
and The Aviator, among others. Brown's handiwork
will also make an appearance in Memoirs of a
Geisha, which opens later this month. And stars
such as Shaquille O'Neal and Elton John have paid
for a Brown original.
You can check out a list of the films
Brown's hats have appeared in and get an idea of
prices (hint: they're not cheap) at Brown's Web
site: www .davebrownhats.com.
